Adrian X Isolde Book 1
Isolde has been raised to hate vampires. Her father has decided to bend the knee to the Blood King, Adrian. But soon he changes the turns to include Isolde to be his wife and queen. To save her people, Isolde agrees. Those around her want her to get close to him so that she can kill him. Now will she be able to or will she have to find another weakness to bring him down?
This is the first book in Adrian X Isolde series. Isolde is a powerful warrior in her own right. She has always known her own mind as well. But there is always more going on. than one realizes. The relationship between her and Adrian is physical but one with little trust. There is so much going on it will keep you turn the page. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read the next book in the series, Queen of Myth and Monsters.

“Their union is his revenge.
Isolde de Lara considers her wedding day to be her death day. To end a years-long war, she is to marry vampire king Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev, and kill him.
But her assassination attempt is thwarted, and Adrian threatens that if Isolde tries to kill him again, he will raise her as the undead. Faced with the possibility of becoming the thing she hates most, Isolde seeks other ways to defy him and survive the brutal vampire court.
Except it isn't the court she fears most―it's Adrian. Despite their undeniable chemistry, she wonders why the king―fierce, savage, merciless―chose her as consort.
The answer will shatter her world.”
