Rosalina has fled back to the human world with her mates, mother, and sister. They have failed to save Castletree and George, her father is dead. They have no magic and must figure out their next moves. Two of the divine weapons have been destroyed. It feels like all hope is lost and Sira has won. But there is still a small spark of power left will it be enough for them to rise from the ashes like a phoenix or will the Vale truly be destroyed like the Above before it.
This is the last book in the Beasts of the Briar series. Rosalina is dealing with the lost of her father and her magic. Her mates, Caspian, Farron, Dayton, Ezryn, and Keldarion all are dealing with the loss of their magic as well but have to deal with leaving the Vale as well. This world keeps getting bigger with each book in the series, with getting to see all the different realms. The magic of the world and its people is beautifully explained through out the story. The transitions from the different perspectives flows easily from one to the next easily. This story is fast-paced and keeps you turning the page to see what sill happen next. I loved reading this book and hope to read more from this world.
