Twilight Saga Book 1
Bella wants to give her mother and her new husband some space so she goes to live with her dad, Charlie in Forks, WA. She isn’t a fan of the cold and wet and figures she will just get by not wanting to draw attention to herself. But being the new kid in a small town does exactly that. She also become fascinated by the Cullen’s, particularly Edward. There is something about them that she can’t help but want to get closer to. Even though Edward pushes her away, even going so far as to tell her she should stay clear of him. But will she listen?
This is the first book in the Twilight Saga. Bella is someone who you would call an old soul, which I think is one of the many reasons why Edward is drawn to her. She isn’t interested in the typical teen age things. Edward is a bit broody but also seems to come alive around her. The two have a sweet chemistry. The world is not much different then our own with the addition of the paranormal aspect of vampires added to it. The vampire mythos in this book is slightly different from some of what we normally read about vampires. Specifically that these vampires glitter int he sunlight. The story is also loosely based on Pride and Prejudice. I loved reading this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series, New Moon.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:
“Isabella Swan's move to Forks—a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington—could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn.
So far, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife—between desire and danger.”
