Margot is a Red Witch who hates to be touched due to what was done to her as a child. While trying to release some of her magic by singing to the flowers, the demon Beelzebub, Lord of Gluttony, hears her and falls under her magic. The two try to stay away from one another, only for a fight to happen and the two end up in Hell together. He now has to get her through the nine levels of so they can get back to Crystal Hollow. Will they be able to get along long enough to get though this together?
This is the third book in the Coven of Bones series. We got to know Margot as a side character in the first two books. Having her move into the main character spot was perfect from where we left off in the series. She is brilliant but wants to be more than just something to be desired. As well as not using her magic to take someone’s will away. Beelzebub has such a grudge against the witches, but he will not let Lucifer down. These two together have such a slow burn that keeps you rooting for them. The world has moved to different levels of Hell, and everyone is different for each of their sins. This makes for great transitions between the levels. We also get to meet more demons and witches who have passed. The story is fast passed and a quick read. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series, the Divine.
