Throne of Glass a Prequel

Celaena Sardothien is one of the most feared assassin in the kingdom but she has standards. When she’s sent to the Pirates thinking that she is just getting payment for the deaths of her fellow assassins, she learns she was mistaken. Her master wants to start working in the slave trade and she and her companion want nothing to do with it. Now she has to figure out how to save these people and not get caught.

This is a prequel to Throne of Glass. I am one of those readers that likes to read books in chronological order. This is a compilation of short stories that are all connected. What is great is they can be read as standalone stories, but I feel are best to be read from start to finish. It is a great character back story for Celaena who is the main character in the Throne of Glass story. You get to see how Celaena became who she is. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read Throne of Glass.
