Myths of the Empyrieos Book 1

Aella is a cast aside princess, raised to be a spy, thief, and assassin. After completing her assignment to get her naming ceremony, she is given her first assignment. She must take on her true name and go to a bridal trial. Her Flight has more going on than her winning the trials. They must find a weapon. Their leader also is past Aella's crush. They must work together while following the rules. Aella is a songbird, but she also is strangling with the orders. Will she be able to complete her mission?

This is the first book in Myths of the Empyrieos series. Aella is all about taking care of those dear to her, and her biggest enemy, the Egale, knows it. Raven is dark and brooding. Wail Keres is dark as well, but is twisted with cruelty. The magic of this world is beautiful. There is so much political intrigue that keeps you turning the pages. I loved reading this book and can't wait to read the next book, Daughter of the Tempest.
