Hazel is entering her senior year with a plan, to win with her color guard and finally start her Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Then her old best friend and first crush, Max, moves back into town. But he isn't the same boy she knew. Will things go as she has planned? Or will she not be able to follow through?

This is the third book in the Gaming and Romance. Hazel is scared to disappoint her parents and her color guard section. Then she adds to her pressure by DMing a D and D game. Max has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. The banter between Hazel and Max is brilliant. It was sweet to see character's from the other books in this one. I loved reading this book and hope that the series will continue.
