This is the second book in the Arcana Academy series. Clare proves she will do anything to succeed with her plans. There were some moments that shocked me in how far she would go. Kaelis sharing with Clare is showing just how much he cares for her. The two together are perfect. The world's magic system is brilliant with its use of the Tarot. I loved reading this book and can't wait to read the conclusion of the series in the next book.
