Once Upon a Broken Heart Book 1
Evangeline believes that her love is under a curse. The only way to save him is to find the Fate, Prince of the Broken Heart. Only when he grants her wish it's to turn the entire wedding party to stone. Now she owes the Prince three kisses. She finds a way to save the party by turning into stone self.
This is the first book in the Once Upon a Broken Heart series. The world is full of magic and fairy tales, with dark under tones through out. Evangeline is a character that sees the good and misses the bad in people and situations. But she is sharp and is quick to figuring out things. Jacks is cunning and a little ruthless in his own pursuits. I loved reading this story and can't wait to read the next book, The Ballad of Never After.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:
“For as long as she can remember, Evangeline Fox has believed in true love and happy endings . . . until she learns that the love of her life will marry another.
Desperate to stop the wedding and to heal her wounded heart, Evangeline strikes a deal with the charismatic, but wicked, Prince of Hearts. In exchange for his help, he asks for three kisses, to be given at the time and place of his choosing.
But after Evangeline’s first promised kiss, she learns that bargaining with an immortal is a dangerous game — and that the Prince of Hearts wants far more from her than she’d pledged. He has plans for Evangeline, plans that will either end in the greatest happily ever after, or the most exquisite tragedy.”
