Ghosted Book 2

Darcy has been a grim reaper for a long time, and she just wants something different. She feels like all she is doing is taking from others by doing her job. When she gets her next job, she ends up in a small town and in a bar run by Gabriel, a guardian angel. The two are like oil and water. Then Darcy chooses to make a radical change, but she is going to have to convince Gabriel to work with her instead of stand against her. Will they be able to or will he try to run her out of town?

This is the second book in the Ghosted series. Darcy is a grumpy but just wants to experience some life as she didn’t have much of one during her mortal time. Gabriel is a fierce protector, wanting to make sure not to get his third strike. The chemistry between the two is perfect. Their banter between the two is some of my favorite. This world is very easy to fall into as it is our own with the magical beings here to protect and guide. It is a fast paced book that I could not put down. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to see if we will get more from this universe.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:

“Darcy Moore is tired of death. Which would be fine and good ... if she wasn’t a Grim Reaper. Determined to outrun her designation as the villain, Darcy decides she won’t be dragging her next assignment to the underworld. She’ll be saving him instead.

Unfortunately for Darcy, there’s a complication in her plan. Guardian Angel Gabriel Aetos doesn’t tolerate threats to his little corner of the world, and a Grim Reaper showing up at his bar is as deadly as it gets. But when he realizes Darcy is not as she seems, Gabriel must decide if he can trust his growing feelings or hold on to his long-standing grudge.

But magic doesn’t come without consequences. And the Department of Hauntings & Spirits will eventually come calling for their missing Reaper.

A spooky yet simmering enemies-to-lovers tale to keep you warm this fall.”
