This is the second book in the Wolves of Ruin. Meryn comes into her powers. She has learned on the job even more than before. Stark fights everything and everyone, his mother, Meryn, and anyone who threatens Meryn. The chemistry between Meryn and Stark is hot. We get to see more of the world and it different people and their cultures. There is more going on than anyone knows. The story is brilliant and keeps you turning the pages. I loved reading this book and can't wait to read the next book, Ruin Bound.
