Evelyn has been given a second chance and isn't going to go through being sacrificed a second time. After being reborn she changes he schedule, so she can learn how to protect myself even without her magic. Making friends with other supernaturals including warlocks, shapeshifters and vampires. She just need to protect myself so that she won't repeat her past life.

This is the first book in the Arcanum Academy. Evelyn is smart and willing to do anything she can to save herself. The book is a slow burn but it says it will get more spicy as the series goes forward. The world is brilliant and full of magic. The story was interesting and it kept me on the edge of my seat. It is fast paced but in a well balanced way. I enjoyed reading his book and look forward to reading the next book in the series, Fated for Starfall.
