This is the first book in the Wolves of Crescent Creek. Wren has been broken and has had to rebuild herself. Kingston, Puck, Lock, Brix, and Ender are a strong pack because of-their own scars. The world is so much like ours that it is easy to get absorbed into. I liked how flawed the characters are. enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read the next book in the series, Eclipsed Empire.
