Between Life and Death Book 1

Sage has spent her life hiding her curse, as she watching those who are cursed are put to death. But after her brother is conscripted she will do anything she can to get him back, even if it means joining the resistance. Now she is following Von and a set off with a small group to get him back.

This is the first book in the Between Life and Death series. Sage is a character who has a strong will. Von is a great shadow daddy. The world is brilliant and pulls you in as you read. I found that it had my turning the page to see what would happen next, with the mythos and magic alike. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the next book, Between sun and Moon.
