Beautiful and Beastly Book 1

Raine is a nurse by day and a violence-eating vigilante at night. Due to a beast that is within her. She has been trying not to harm anyone but has lost control from time to time. After saving a man who has dementia from being kidnapped. She finds herself now facing the Warden, Remington, of all supernatural activity in his territory. They make a bargain that he helps her with the beast within and she helps his grandfather’s memory. There is only one catch. She must pretend to be his girlfriend. Will they be able to work together?

This is book one of the Beautiful and Beastly series. Raine is such a passionate character. She wants to help others with her power not kill. Remy is hot and way more powerful than he first seems. Raine inner voice and lines had me laughing out loud. The way the author wraps our current world with mythology and magic is brilliantly done. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series, a Storm of Dragons and Sorcery.
